Im never ever one to really leave reviews. This is coming from a person who HATES dealing with drs and has been all year. This hospital is the best in pasco county. Ive always been a baycare person, but I will now never go back to them. The treatment I got at this hospital was like know other. Every single dr, nurse, assistant was so sweet, funny, and beyond professional. You can tell they all love there jobs and genuinely want to make you better. They listened to all my worries, they tested for everything with no complaints. If I could remember every drs and nurses name I had id put it here but the only one I remember was my nurse Monica. I want to thank the entire team at Starkey Ranch ER for the amazing care they provided to my daughter this past Sunday. She had a severe allergic reaction right before her volleyball championship, with significant swelling and chest pain, so we rushed to the nearest ER, which happened to be right around the corner. As soon as we walked in and explained what was happening, the front office staff immediately got her back, and Dr. Sandhu and his team were there to help her. They took excellent care of my daughter and stayed attentive until she was feeling better. Later, Dr. Volle came in, and we received the same wonderful care and attention. Thank you to Dr. Sandhu, Dr. Volle, the nurses, and the entire team for taking such great care of my daughter when we were scared and worried. After falling and injuring my foot, and being relatively new to the area, I was hesitant about seeking care because of poor past experiences elsewhere. Starkey Ranch has quelled those fears! From the front desk staff to the nurses and doctors I spoke with, each of them were pleasant and helpful, the facility was immaculately clean, my X-rays were taken AT my hospital bed (!!!!) and I was in and out in under two hours with a boot and treatment plan! My husband brought our son in and saw Dr. Jesse Sandhu who was amazing. Can't say enough about how helpful he was and mindful he was about cost. He seems to truly care about our community and we are very grateful for his profession and personal help. Front desk  and nurse were also super helpful in dealing with a screaming 2 y/o. Very pleasant, every staff member had compassion and understanding. They took their time. My system was not over stimulated by environment in er. Wish they took commercial insurances for admission to hospital. I am not sure if commercial ibsurance is accepted for behavioral health inpatient.

Amazing place to go if you have to. The generosity and hospitality of the staff is unlike anything else you’ll encounter in the contemporary world we live in today. Visited the ER for the first time ever. The staff was incredible! Received immediate attention from the front desk to the nurses to the doctors. Was also admitted an extra night on the hospital side and all the nurses and doctors provided such excellent care too. What was a scary experience to have to go to the ER in the middle of the night to staying an extra night- they made me and my family feel welcomed, comfortable, cared for and safe.
