I had such a great experience at this ER. I was seen incredibly fast, and from the moment I walked in, the entire staff was kind, attentive, and professional. The doctors truly listened to my concerns, took the time to explain everything, and genuinely seemed to care about how I was feeling. I also came in without insurance and was honestly nervous about the cost, but it ended up being much more reasonable than I expected. They were upfront and helpful about everything, which made an already stressful situation so much easier. No one ever wants to have to go to the ER, but if you do, I highly recommend this place. I never thought I’d be leaving a review for a hospital, but this experience was unlike anything I’ve ever had in an ER. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. The front desk check-in, the walk back to the patient room, imaging, the nurses at the nurses’ station, the staff checking in throughout our stay, and Dr. Pruitt were ALL fantastic. No one wants to find themselves in the hospital, especially unexpectedly on a Friday night, but this was truly a five-star experience from start to finish. Yes, it feels strange writing that about a trip to the ER instead of a high-end hotel or restaurant, but that really says something about the level of care we received. If you ever find yourself needing emergency care—and hopefully you never do—I would highly recommend Starkey Ranch ER & Hospital. The hospitality, professionalism, and bedside manner were hands down the best I have ever experienced in a hospital setting. This place truly sets the platinum-gold standard for how patients and families should be treated. I also want to make clear that I don’t usually leave reviews, good or bad, especially for hospitals. I don’t know anyone who works here, and no one asked me to leave a review or complete a survey. I’m writing this simply because the experience was genuinely that exceptional. To take a nerve-racking, unexpected ER visit on a Friday night and turn it into an experience positive enough that I felt compelled to write a review says everything about this hospital and its staff.
